UWICK CD Contents for Autumn Quarter 2008
The UW Internet Connectivity Kit CD-ROM (UWICK) titled "Spring-Summer 2008" is not being updated for Autumn 2008, the "Spring-Summer 2008" version can be considered "current" for Autumn Quarter 2008. If we have received an update since the CD was released, we provide a link to the update in the 'Update Available' column.
Installing UWICK software at work and home:
Please consult with your local/departmental computing support
staff before installing UWICK software from the CD onto your work
computer at the UW. While the UWICK may be used as a tool by your
local/departmental computing staff, they might prefer to install
other software. You should use the UWICK software when connecting
your own computer at home or in a residence hall to UW
resources.
Starter Set
The Starter Set contains tools to set up the basic network connection, provides secure terminal connections and secure file transfer. You must agree to the export regulations before you download.- You can download a copy of the Starter Set as it exists on the current UWICK CD (note that the Starter Set is NOT updated mid-quarter).

system with current phone numbers for UW dial-in networking
services. These phone numbers do change from time to time. For
